We Caught ‘Em! Americans Are Shocked Speechless To Learn Who Just Admitted Lying Through Their Teeth To The FBI

There is a saying that a parent will do anything for their children. I sort of understand the sentiment as a father of five. Whenever there is something that they need, or that they want, I do my best to provide that for them. I will even go so far as to go without while providing for them because…well, they’re my kids. They’re my responsibility.

What I’m not sure about is how I’d react if my kids were ever doing something illegal. Obviously, I would be crazy upset and I would take to fits of yelling and chastising. But what if the crime were more serious? You see these stories where a boy kills someone and then when he’s arrested, you find out that the parents knew! And they didn’t turn him into the authorities! What must that be like, to know that your son or daughter has committed a terrible crime and you must make the decision to turn them into the police where they will spend a good portion of their lives behind bars?

What is even more insane is when the parents know, but they support the decision on the part of their child to commit these horrid crimes. A pair of brothers from Texas were recently discovered by the FBI to have flown to the Middle East and fought for ISIS. When their parents were question, they claimed not to know where their two boys were. Now it appears that these Muslim parents had in fact, not only known, but may also have condoned their actions!

Daily Mail:

FBI officials say a Texas couple lied to authorities about their sons’ involvement with the Islamic State group.

Mohommad Hasnain Ali, 57, and Sumaiya Ali, 49, pleaded guilty in federal court in June to making a false statement about international terrorism, The Dallas Morning News reported .

The couple reached an agreement with prosecutors for probation and a $5,000 fine each.

The agreement will be reviewed by a judge Thursday during a sentencing hearing.

‘The defendant has cooperated with the government and agreed to provide testimony, should it become necessary to do so in the future,’ said Catherine McDonald, an attorney for Mohommad Ali, in court documents.

Federal court records allege their sons, 27-year-old Arman Ali and 26 year-old Omar Ali of Plano, moved to Egypt and then traveled to Syria to fight alongside the Islamic State group.

Court records show that Mohommad Ali told investigators his sons were not affiliated with any terrorist group in 2015.

‘He advised that his sons were peaceful, liked to study, and never indicated they would be affiliated with any terrorist group,’ court documents said.

But email records show the couple was aware of their sons’ activities.

In one online exchange sent by Arman to his father in 2015, he explains: ‘Things are heating up here, and I can’t guarantee me or Omar will be there in 2 months… I’ve been to the hospital every day with brothers from my group.’

‘Close friends have died, too many injured…Me and Omar are perfectly fine right now, but soon we may not be,’ Arman adds.

Court documents stated that the parents were aware of Arman and Omar’s departure from Egypt, and ‘communicated regularly with them regarding their whereabouts and desire to fight for ISIS.’

The brothers were charged with providing a foreign terrorist organization with material support or resources in a sealed federal complaint in March, but no indictments have been publicly filed.

It’s unclear whether the brothers are still alive.

This behavior on the part of the sons is bad enough, but when the parents are in on the scheme and are shielding these boys from prosecution, it’s even worse. This would be like you moving your family to England, becoming a resident, then sending your children to fight against the British soldiers in a foreign land. It makes absolutely no sense.

While it makes no sense to us, perhaps this is the sticking point between us and Muslims. They don’t see this type of behavior as radical, unusual, or wrong. When the bulk of Muslims refuse to condemn these types of activities, is it any wonder that this situation seems to be more frequent these days?
