Two Sentenced For $7.2 MILLION In Welfare Fraud…You’ll Be Stunned To See Who They Are!

The purpose of public assistance is to help people who are having financial difficulties, but all too often, there are those who take advantage of the system under fraudulent circumstances and profit from their efforts.

What is a shame is that the government is unable to catch every person who commits such fraud. Which means those who steal the most money will be the first priority for audit. One would also hope that punishment would be severe, but in this circumstance, it is not the case.

Outrageously, two Muslim “retailers” were sentenced to a mere eighteen months in prison for scamming the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) of between $3.5 to $3.7 million dollars over a six year period!

Joe For America reported the specifics:

The media has reported of two Muslim retailers that plead guilty to wire fraud and conspiracy to commit wire fraud. The two men are Mohammad Shafiq and Muhammad Sarmad. Both are guilty of food stamp fraud no less and the judge sentenced them to merely eighteen months in prison. That is not enough!

They were both found guilty during trial of exchanging food stamps for money. The food stamp program is known as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program or SNAP. It’s aim is to assist low-income individuals in paying for groceries when they don’t have enough monthly income to do so.

Ordinarily people who have SNAP benefits use a card similar to a debit card that can only be used at certain companies that accept SNAP benefits. Both of the thugs were licensed to accept SNAP benefits. But instead of abiding by the law the two men exchanged cash for SNAP benefits from their customers.

In the short run what they did was give welfare recipients half the value of their benefits in cash as opposed to the healthy food items that SNAP usually covers. Over a six year period they ran their scam up to $3.5 to $3.7 million! That is a preposterous amount of money.

If there ever was a good reason to start putting the brakes on indiscriminate immigration, this is one! If we add up all the good reasons, probably the best one is stopping criminals from over-running the country, but there’s no reason our standards can’t be a little higher than that. Like expecting people who want to live here to show some real appreciation for what they’re being given.

It once again shows that Muslims are refusing to assimilate into our country and are doing their best to run this country into the ground. Eighteen months is not enough punishment for these two men!
