Ever since Donald Trump took his oath of office and began making appointments to fill the thousands of government jobs, as well as the high level cabinet positions within his administration, he’s had one major goal in mind: to downsize the government roster and save unnecessary expenditures.
This shows the true businessman that he is.
It seems there are 600 empty positions in his administration that have yet to be filled and Trump is in no hurry to fill them.
From Conservative Tribune:
President Donald Trump has been taking heat for not filling hundreds of appointed federal government jobs, but he recently revealed the true reason why he hasn’t done so — a reason conservatives will love.
In an interview with Fox News’ “Fox & Friends” that aired this week, Trump explained that his administration’s seemingly lack of political appointees has been an effort to shrink the size of the federal government.
“When I see a story about ‘Donald Trump didn’t fill hundreds and hundreds of jobs,’ it’s because, in many cases, we don’t want to fill those jobs,” he said.
“A lot of those jobs, I don’t want to appoint, because they’re unnecessary to have,” the president explained. “You know, we have so many people in government, even me. I look at some of the jobs and it’s people over people over people. I say, ‘What do all these people do?’ You don’t need all those jobs.”

“Many of those jobs I don’t want to fill,” Trump said. “I say, isn’t that a good thing? That’s not a bad thing. That’s a good thing. We’re running a very good, efficient government.”
What better way to reduce government expenditures than to reduce the size of government by not appointing people for positions that are unnecessary or redundant?
Trump is a businessman who understands how to manage a large company to reduce costs and the wasting of precious resources. Something that most politicians have no inkling of how to do so they appoint hundreds of people for hundreds of tasks that one knowledgeable person could accomplish, singly.
Reducing the number of employees of a company in order to reduce expenses is something business owners have done from time immemorial. Sadly, it’s something that politicians have never learned and it’s about time they did.
Trump will show them how!
