President Trump, since his first day in office, has done his very level best to place the interests of the American people ahead of anything else.
For starters, he placed a travel ban executive order that would protect the United States from any unnecessary risks for terrorist attacks. The order was to limit the infiltration of parties from countries that were considered hotspots of terrorism until better vetting processes were created. Naturally, the left began attacking the president, stating that his love of America was actually a hatred for all countries and refugees of those countries. Through the power of legislating from the bench, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals stopped the president’s order.
Well, now these travel ban judges are paying the very public and very humiliating price for their liberal actions. The Supreme Court has shot down the lower courts’ opinions, and has stated that any foreign national that does not have a “bona fide” relationship with anyone in the US is allowed to be banned from the country. This is once again, a huge win for President Trump, and a huge embarrassment for the liberals!
President Donald Trump celebrated the unanimous per curiam opinion by the Supreme Court, effectively clearing lower court attempts to stay his travel ban, calling it a “clear victory” for national security.
“Today’s unanimous Supreme Court decision is a clear victory for our national security,” the president said in a statement to reporters.
Trump’s ban sought to limit people from Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, and Yemen from entering the United States, citing a national security risk.
Despite efforts from lower courts to block the ban, the Supreme Court decided that foreign nationals lacking a “bona fide” relationship with someone in the United States could be banned…
“As president, I cannot allow people into our country who want to do us harm,” Trump’s statement said. “I want people who can love the United States and all of its citizens, and who will be hardworking and productive.”
The court upheld Trump’s right to executive authority.
