Should Robert Mueller Resign As Special Counsel To Investigate President Trump?

Special Counsel Robert Mueller has sent quite a few red flag warnings to the American people:

  1. He was called to investigate the alleged relationship between President Trump and Russia prior to the 2016 election results. Instead, Mueller is now investigating President Trump’s personal finances, which should be outside his scope of review.
  2. He has hired Democratic lawyers to assist in his investigation. All are proven to have Democratic or Clinton ties. Is that really fair?
  3. He is close friends with former FBI Director James Comey.

In the last case, Rep. Trent Franks of the House Judiciary Committee has called out Mueller’s close connections with Comey. Rep. Franks is calling Mueller’s relationship with Comey a significant conflict of interest. Due to this conflict, Mueller is clearing violating federal law, and should resign to maintain the integrity of this investigation.

What do you think? Do you believe Mueller is breaking federal law with being close pals with Comey? Time for an impartial and not intrusive investigator?
