Do Illegals Have A Right To Assume Protection From ICE When Protesting At State Capitol?

Recently, a state representative out of Texas called in ICE to arrest those illegal immigrants who were protesting at the Texas State Capitol.

These illegals had signs and were chanting,  ‘I am illegal and here to stay,’ so they were assuming that they were protected from any arrests by ICE. Boy, was their thinking screwed up!

But what do you think? Do illegals have any right to protest at the nearest state capitol, demanding laws that go into their favor, when they’re not even citizens? Should they be protected from ICE arrests when they are protesting?
