Democrats have become so focused on winning elections that they’ve forgotten who they represent.
Instead of representing the interests of average, hard-working Americans, Democrats have substituted their own interests and those of their party in place of them.
Senator Harry Reid is personally responsible for much of the negativity that the Democrat party has been saddled with, of late. Because of his need for power and control, as far back as 2013, his inappropriate actions to help out his team have now come full circle and blown up in his face.
Now, Trump is the benefactor of Reid’s rule, and we couldn’t be more thrilled!
From Joe For America:
Liberals have become increasingly antsy over Trump’s cabinet lineup, mostly because they made a huge mistake back in 2013 that cost them HUGE. They are utterly powerless to do anything to stop him. Ironically, we have their own leader Sen. Harry Reid, to thank for this.
Remember in 2013 when Harry Reid used the ‘nuclear option’ to confirm judges?
I assume Mr. Reid didn’t have President Trump in mind when he pulled the “nuclear option” trigger. Harry Reid’s new rule, made it so that no clauses could stop a judge below the Supreme Court, and all it took was a simple majority to confirm them.
Harry Reid changed the long-standing tradition to serve his own selfish purpose… Democrat partisanship. Now, it’s come to bite him in the butt. What comes up must come down Reid, OUCH.
Fast forward to 2017. Republicans will have a simple majority in the Senate. And there are over 100 empty judge spots below the Supreme Court. [Emphasis Added]
So what will we see from Trump?
As Professor Jacobsen reports:
There currently are over 100 vacancies in the federal appeals and trial courts.
This will allow Donald Trump to reshape the federal judiciary rather decisively and quickly. Trump will inherit over 100 court vacancies, talk about reshaping the judiciary:
“Donald Trump is set to inherit an uncommon number of vacancies in the federal courts in addition to the open Supreme Court seat, giving the president-elect a monumental opportunity to reshape the judiciary after taking office. The estimated 103 judicial vacancies that President Obama is expected to hand over to Trump in the Jan. 20 transition of power is nearly double the 54 openings Obama found eight years ago following George W. Bush’s presidency.” [Emphasis Added]
Naturally, the liberals are terrified over the possibilities of Trump appointing more moderate or conservative judges and we couldn’t be happier!
