I, like so many conservative Americans, have been asking myself when are the Democrats going to stop kicking this dead horse? There is no evidence to support the claim that the Trump-Russia collusion ever happened.
The Democrats created that false narrative to insinuate that it’s the only way Trump could have won the 2016 presidential election and snowflakes everywhere have totally bought into it.
Newt Gingrich believes the appointment of special counsel Robert Mueller to investigate the allegations of collusion and now, obstruction of justice, against Trump is nothing but an attempt to railroad him out of office. Basically, the truth is irrelevant. The former speaker of the house stated as much during an interview with Martha Raddatz on ABC’s “This Week” program!
From Conservative Tribune:
Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich suggested Sunday that the special counsel appointed to investigate allegations of Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election and obstruction of justice by President Donald Trump is more interested in taking down the president than determining the truth.
He based this inference on a recent report indicating that a number of the attorneys hired by special counsel Robert Mueller to aid him in his investigation are longtime Democrat supporters.
“You tell me why the first four names that came up, I don’t know about the next nine, the first four names are all people who gave to Democrats,” he told ABC’s “This Week” host Martha Raddatz. “Two of them are people with a record of hiding evidence from the defense. And one of them is a person who defended the Clinton Foundation.”
“Now in this environment with a Justice Department where 97 percent of the donations last year went to Hillary, 97 percent,” he continued, “explain to me why I should relax as a Republican.”

He echoed the same sentiment during an interview last Monday with conservative radio host Laura Ingraham, though his concern at the time rested mainly with former FBI Director James Comey.
Gingrich pointed out that Mueller is a longtime workplace friend of Comey, whose purposeful leaking of a memo he wrote after a conversation with the president in February was what triggered a special counsel in the first place.
Asked by Ingraham whether Comey and Mueller’s friendship would allow for a fair investigation, Gingrich replied, “I think that is impossible; this will be a witch hunt.”
He also reiterated the fact that zero evidence has yet surfaced proving any of the allegations against the president and his campaign team, despite a months-long blitz by the media and so-called “deep state” intelligence officials.
“(A)fter six months of looking, there is no evidence that Trump’s involved,” he said, adding that “there’s (only) talk about what they could (have done).”
That the investigation of Trump is a witch hunt, we can all agree on. It is a smear campaign where Democrats are throwing mud at Trump and hoping some of it will stick.
They will probably not give up until they’ve found something to impeach him with. but so far though, the president has been unimpeachable and the leftists are pulling their hair out over it.
