The Affordable Care Act was touted by Democrats as the ultimate fix for those unable to afford any health insurance at all. However, it ended up being a miserable failure as premiums rose so high and so quickly, many couldn’t afford it, making it the “Unaffordable Care Act.” But President Obama promised wouldn’t happen!
Who can forget the press conferences where Obama stated “If you like your plan, you can keep your plan, if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor.” None of which was true!
FOX’s Tucker Carlson interviewed the architect of Obamacare, Jonathan Gruber, and got him to admit something startling.
Obamacare architect Jonathan Gruber told Fox News host Tucker Carlson on Wednesday that former President Obama’s signature health care law was “never supposed to help everybody.”
Carlson had Gruber on his show to defend the Affordable Care Act and discuss plans by Republicans to repeal and replace the law.
Gruber, a professor at MIT, famously was recorded saying that a “lack of transparency” and the “stupidity of the American voter” made it easier to pass the health care law in 2010.
“I thought this law was supposed to help everybody?” Carlson asked Gruber.
“This law was never supposed to help everybody,” Gruber responded.
He explained that the initial design of the law was not meant to interfere with the health care of those who already had insurance.
Instead the law was supposed to focus specifically on the 20 percent of Americans who did not have health insurance
As we all know now, Obamacare was a colossal fiasco doomed to fail from the beginning due to the fact that the federal government does a really bad job of administrating something that it has no business being involved in.
In this case, the administration of health insurance, which is a job for the private sector alone.
President Trump will repeal Obamacare and replace it with a better health care insurance that we all can afford!
