The Fake News Industrial Complex continues to march on with its Russia hysteria. The Washington Post in particular is absolutely fueled by a fixation on the Russians, its subject matter featuring so prominently in its reporting as to border on fanaticism. Right now, its primary target is Attorney General Jeff Sessions.
The WaPo primed this hysteria with a few well-positioned pieces on how Trump and his advisers were testing the waters on replacing Sessions with Giuliani. The fact is that this story was the seed and the upcoming story of collusion between Sessions and the Russians was to be the life-giving water to the conspiracy theory. Since they’ve failed to get a foothold, it’s now up to Mueller and the Deep State to continue leaking tidbits of information gained through illegally gotten “unmasked” NSA metadata.
With the admission of even more damning information that these conversations between Sessions and Russian envoys were recorded, it seems unlikely that the Republicans will need to dig very far before coming to one shocking conclusion about who is behind this “unmasking” scandal: Barack Hussein Obama.
The Gateway Pundit:
Fake News WaPo dropped another Deep State leak Friday afternoon to juice up the Russian hysteria as they claim AG Jeff Sessions spoke to a Russian envoy twice during the 2016 presidential election.
Russian envoy Sergey Kislyak’s accounts of two conversations with Jeff Sessions, who was at the time a Senator from Alabama, were intercepted by U.S. spy agencies, according to WaPo. This is only further proof that Obama was spying on and unmasking GOP lawmakers during the 2016 presidential election.
According to the Washington Post, Russia’s ambassador to Washington told his superiors in Moscow that he discussed campaign-related matters, including policy issues important to Moscow, with Jeff Sessions during the 2016 presidential race, contrary to public assertions by the embattled attorney general, according to current and former U.S. officials.
Ambassador Sergey Kislyak’s accounts of two conversations with Sessions — then a top foreign policy adviser to Republican candidate Donald Trump — were intercepted by U.S. spy agencies, which monitor the communications of senior Russian officials both in the United States and in Russia. Sessions initially failed to disclose his contacts with Kislyak and then said that the meetings were not about the Trump campaign.
As TGP previously reported, Attorney General Jeff Sessions addressed the Senate Intelligence Committee on in June.
Sessions told the committee that he any claims that he colluded with Russia in campaign is an “appalling and detestable lie.”
The Washington Post is pathetic. They are proving how embedded they are in the Democrat slave trade by jousting with the Trump staffers over an issue that should be an indictment of the Obama administration. Too often, these fake news outlets are so focused on Trump tossing a piece of paper out the car window when the Obama administration was dumping toxic waste into the Potomac.
If a proper and real investigation ever gets underway in reference to this “unmasking” scandal, it’s likely that flunkies will get the blame. Which begs the question: If Obama has yet to do anything wrong, how terrible of a president was he that nearly all the people under his administration committed crimes without him ever even noticing? Flies in the face of logic…or believability.
