When it comes to shady deals by politicians, the Democrats beyond a doubt corner the market over the Republicans. There are too many examples to enumerate and it would be foolish to do so anyway, seeing that the Leftists are quite nimble when it comes to the bait-and-switch method of debating. As soon as you think you’ve got them cornered, they weasel their way out of a tight spot with the full assistance of the mainstream media’s fake news network.
Using a position of power to effect great money-making schemes for you, your family and your friends is also another way that politicians seem to be able to turn a $170K+ in annual salary into a lucrative seven-figure income by the end of their run.
Senator Bernie Sanders and his wife are embroiled in their own mini-scandal that appears to be picking up steam lately involving a small school of which Jane Sanders was the president. During that time, she was said to have illegally secured a very lucrative loan, a loan that Bernie allegedly bullied the bank to give, that raised more than a few eyebrows. On CNN, Bernie decided to lay the blame squarely on the shoulders of the GOP.
Independent Journal Review:
Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) has been hounded recently after the FBI began investigating his wife, Jane, for fraud while she was president of Burlington College from 2004 to 2011.
Jane Sanders is accused of committing fraud to get a $10 million loan in order to expand the small Vermont school.
“I know this will shock the viewers — the vice chairman of the Vermont Republican Party, who happened to be Donald Trump’s campaign manager, raised this issue and initiated this investigation … I think what you’re looking at is something that the Republican National Committee is very excited about.”

Not only that, he blamed partisan politics for targeting his wife — saying that American politics in 2017 involves attacking families and children:
“…Sadly we are in a moment where parties not only attack public officials, they have to go after wives and children. You know, this is pathetic and that’s the way politics is in America today.”
Typically, high-profile politicians (especially those who are lifers, meaning they don’t agree with term limits and serve for decades) aren’t ever really punished for their crimes. They rarely spend any time in prison for their illegal activities and one is hard-pressed to find many that are ever laughed out of Swampland, USA.
This certainly sounds like one of those typical examples of people in power doing something illegal, getting caught, and then going on their merry little way, while the FBI whistles merrily past the graveyard, pretending it’s all just a big misunderstanding.
