Ben Carson is a wonderful human being filled with grace, hope, and a deep wisdom unrivaled by many in the president’s administration. Overcoming a life of poverty and adversity, Carson rose above his station and did something that no one in his family had ever done before: He graduated medical school and became a renowned and highly skilled neo-natal pediatric brain surgeon.
As if that wasn’t enough, he ran for President of the United States in a very crowded and diverse Republican primary, for a time actually running neck-and-neck with the two front-runners, Senator Ted Cruz and the very popular newcomer, Donald Trump. After his victory in the primary and the election, Trump offered Carson the prestigious job of Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, for which the former surgeon graciously accepted.
On a recent trip abroad, Carson returned home to find that it had been defaced by Leftist thugs with anti-Trump graffiti! The Secretary made a point of telling everyone the story on Facebook and ensuring that people were aware that his kind (and embarrassed) neighbors had cleaned up most of the mess before they had gotten back home! It is shocking to see Secretary Carson’s home be raided with anti-Trump rhetoric, and I’m sure President Trump, though stunned by the story, counts himself lucky to have Carson’s support.
Vandals posted “hateful rhetoric” about President Donald Trump on a Virginia house owned by Housing Secretary Ben Carson.
In response, Carson is urging Americans to avoid the emotional conflicts caused by the far-left effort to tear down Confederate-era memorials.
Racist “hatred and bigotry unfortunately still exists in our country and we must all continue to fight it, but let’s use the right tools,” such as “people taking the high road,” he wrote.
Reconciliation “is the likely outcome if we just learn to be neighborly and to get to know each other,” Carson wrote in an August 16 post on his Facebook page.
In the post, he wrote:
Our home in Virginia along with that of a neighbor was vandalized by people who also wrote hateful rhetoric about President Trump. We were out of town, but other kind, embarrassed neighbors cleaned up most of the mess before we returned.
Carson urged everyone to pray for the families of those injured in Charlottesville and to also pray for an end to the hostilities on both sides. He also pointed out that the hate and bigotry is never defeated with more hate and bigotry. Only faith and understanding can defeat those immoral qualities. “That is the likely outcome if we just learn to be neighborly and to get to know each other.”
It does make you wonder how many of the Fake News Industrial Complex decided to cover this story and not the story of the “peaceful counter-protesters.” Let me give you a hint: None, nada, nil, naught, zero, zilch, zip! Just goes to show where the Left is betting from where their money is flowing.
