President Trump Drops $190 BILLION Can Of Whoop-Ass On Welfare Leeches…Americans Are Cheering!

President Donald Trump’s plan to cut wasteful spending out of the federal budget involves putting some people back to work. He’s seeking those who, in the past, haven’t been contributing much in the way of earning their share of the benefits they have been receiving.

There are 50 million people receiving benefits on the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), who were not required to work to receive them. However, Trump’s new budget plan calls for a few changes.

Under the new budget proposals, some individuals receiving SNAP benefits will now be required to work for those benefits, unless they are physically unable to do so. This plan will save an estimated $190 billion of taxpayer dollars over ten years.

Conservative Tribune explains:

President Donald Trump is making good on campaign promises to cut the federal budget by requiring able-bodied persons to work to receive food stamps as part of his 2018 budget plan.

The budget plan was released on May 23, 2017, Breitbart reported. By limiting the number of people who rely on welfare to fund their lives, the federal government will purportedly save $190 billion over the next ten years.

Of course, the Trump administration will not pull benefits away from those who truly need food stamps for daily needs. In fact, of the 50 million people currently on food stamps, the new budget plan would only require those adults to get a job who have no factors that hinder them from entering the work force.

Trump explained why the changes were necessary:

The president explained why his administration recommended those changes. “We must reform our welfare system so that it does not discourage able-bodied adults from working, which takes away scarce resources from those in real need,” Trump said. “Work must be the center of our social policy.”

According to Fox Business, Office of Management and Budget director Mick Mulvaney explained how the budget reform would actually help grow the economy and ultimately result in better futures for those who use food stamps.

“We’re no longer going to measure compassion by the amount of money we spend, but by the number of people we help,” Mulvaney said. “That is how you can get 3 percent economic growth … Everything that we do in this administration, every single time I’m called into the Oval Office … the focus is sustained 3 percent economic growth.”

“I would assure you if you’re in this country and you want to work, there’s good news, because Donald Trump is president, and we’re going to get 3 percent growth, and we’re going to give you a chance to get back to work,” he continued.

Robert Rector, senior research fellow at the Heritage Foundation told The New York Times that the cuts go way beyond economic impact.

“The primary goal is reciprocity,” he said. “It’s a moral goal in the sense that what you want to say is, ‘We will give aid to those who need aid, but we expect constructive activity in exchange for aid.’ That’s the whole principle. Everything else is secondary to that.”

The way to reduce wasteful spending is to cut off the money spigot to people who have been generational welfare leeches their whole lives. Their only source of income has been the benefits they receive from the federal government.

Welfare was never meant to be a lifestyle but for many, it’s the only life they know and that needs to be remedied. President Trump will be applying that remedy shortly and swiftly!
